I wear many hats — midwife, author, entrepreneur, consultant, and mum of five — but at the heart of it all, my mission has always been the same: to empower parents and help the brands who serve them connect in ways that are authentic, ethical, and effective.
My journey began with a degree in Digital Broadcast Media (2005), where I honed my skills in communication, storytelling, and audience engagement. I later pursued my passion for supporting families by qualifying with a degree in Midwifery (2009). This combination of clinical knowledge and media expertise became the foundation of everything I do today.
I have always been entrepreneurial. Over the past 15+ years, I have:

I’ve been invited to speak at leading events such as The London Baby Show, numerous Maternal Health Conferences, and The Multiple Matters Symposium. I’ve sat on panels, guested on podcasts, and been featured in national media including BBC, Channel 4, Grazia, Metro, HuffPost, Mother & Baby, and more.
I’m also the author of Midwife Marley’s Guide for Everyone and co-author of Birthing with Davina McCall — two books that amplify my voice in the maternal health and parenting space. Beyond this, I’ve created and led courses for antenatal educators and written a specialist programme on marketing to mums for baby businesses.

Over the last five years, I’ve partnered with pregnancy and baby brands in a variety of ways:
I also run workshops and training programmes for marketing and sales teams, helping non-parents understand the emotional and practical realities of parenthood so they can better connect with their audience.

I’ve also worked with two innovative women’s health tech companies in their business development teams, gaining hands-on experience in sales, partnerships, and marketing processes. This gave me a strong foundation in corporate operations and sharpened my ability to help brands grow strategically.
In addition, I am the founding midwife of NowBaby, an antenatal course company with a large community presence and an advertising screen network in maternity units across the UK. This role has given me unique insight into how both healthcare providers and commercial brands communicate with expectant families.
